In the period starting, the French airline plans to offer its customers flights to 196 cities on 5 continents, including several new routes, including: Quebec City (Canada), Zakynthos (Greece) and Tirana (Albania). The pool of seats offered for sale is expected to average 90 percent of the carrier’s offerings before the pandemic crisis.

North America

For the spring-summer 2022 season, the carrier will make nearly 200 flights per week available to passengers to 14 U.S. cities, 20 percent more than in summer 2019. Air France will offer, among other things, 7 flights a day to New York departing from its two Paris airports, Paris Charles de Gaulle and Paris Orly. In addition, in partnership with Delta, an exclusive shuttle service will be launched – available between Paris Charles de Gaulle airport and New York JFK airport. It will offer 8 flights a day, scheduled to depart regularly every hour (up to a maximum of 2 hours) from June b.r.
Another new addition to the summer schedule is the relaunched service to Dallas, Texas, with five flights per week. In addition, Air France will once again offer a seasonal route from Paris (CDG) to Denver (Colorado). Three daily flights to Denver will be available from 4 May 2022.

As previously announced, Air France will strengthen its offer of flights to Canada. On May 17, the airline will inaugurate a route from Paris (CDG) to Quebec City, bringing the total offering on routes to Canada to 25 percent more than the pre-pandemic schedule. This summer, the airline will become the European leader in the number of seats on flights between Europe and Canada.

Africa

Air France also returns to pre-pandemic activity levels in Africa. Frequencies will be increased on selected routes and two of the seasonal routes – to Zanzibar (Tanzania) and Banjul (Gambia) – will remain in the summer schedule.

Asian route network will be maintained almost entirely, although the number of flights will be reduced. The exception is India, where there are plans to increase frequencies to Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore and Chennai (Madras), in response to the country’s reopening to foreign visitors, starting March 27, 2022.

New destinations in Europe

Air France will launch 23 seasonal routes from Paris (CDG airport) this summer, including three new routes:

– Zakynthos (Greece) – 2 flights per week starting July 9,
– Tirana (Albania) – 2 flights a week from 9 July and
Tenerife (Spain) – Continuation of the route launched in the winter season.

From Paris-Orly airport, passengers will be able to fly on several new routes this summer, m.in. to Algiers (subject to the reopening of the country) and Tunis (1 flight per day from 29 May b.r.). There are also plans to increase the number of connections to Ibiza and Majorca (Spain) and to Bari (Italy), which are in the schedule from 2021. Air France will also offer 47 seasonal routes, departing from regional airports in France such as Nice, Marseille and Lyon.

Flights from/to Poland

During the spring-summer 2022 season, Air France will offer up to 27 flights a week between Warsaw and Paris. Some of the flights will be operated with the latest aircraft in the fleet of the French airline – Airbus A220-300.
From this week, the connection to Krakow returned. Krakow-Paris flights will initially be offered once a week, with travelers on this route eventually enjoying four flights a week.
